Job Description

Position Summary

To design, develop, test and maintain .NET-based web applications as per the client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in full software development life cycle: analyzing requirements, designing & developing, implementing and testing web applications using ASP.Net, C #.Net, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS and SQL Server.
Analyse, test and resolve issues relating to Software performance.
Provide post-working hours and on-call production support if required.

Key Technical Skills

High level of expertise in: -
Front-end: C#, ASP.NET, MVC 4.0 and above, HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, AngularJS
Middle-tier : WCF, Web API
Back-end: MS SQL Server 2005/2008
Expertise in OOAD, Design Patterns, n-tier architecture
Very strong in Unit testing - knowledge in tools like Moq, NUnit.
Experience in Agile (SCRUM) development
Strong communication skills, experience in multi-cultural environment would add value

Value add Skills

Knowledge in Microsoft Azure and Azure based services
Ability to stay on top of emerging web technologies
Good problem solving skills
Having domain knowledge on Mutual funds is preferable.
Good presentation skills

Beneficial Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of object oriented programming methodology.
Knowledge of Design Patterns.
Knowledge in Algorithms and in Data Structures
Domain knowledge in Mutual Funds and Equities

Key Behavioral Skills

Possessing good communication skills and able to interact with Clients for project related discussions and for support if required.
Should be comfortable working in a team environment, on projects shared between multiple developers as well as independently on assigned tasks and projects.
Should think out of box and come up with alternative ideas/implementation to handle critical situation/issues
Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team having members at India, UK, Czech Republic etc.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
